The Renowood Film Academy is the most innovative and dynamic film school (formerly located in Northern Nevada, now abroad). Our programs are designed with a "hands-on" philosophy. Every part of the curriculum has been designed around that philosophy. Our programs are some of the most intense, hands-on courses you can find, and the only Professional film program in the region. We are staffed by Industry professionals with decades of experience working at all levels of production.
You will learn filmmaking on the set of an actual film in production. Students will have the honor of participating as actual crew and cast.
SUMMER 2009 PROJECT - completed
Since the founding of Renowood.org in 2001, the organization has grown from offering regional networking opportunities to now offering the region's only weekend, 1-week and 5-week "on-set" film school experiences. The Academy provides consentrated training in Filmmaking: Producing, Directing, Acting, Screenwriting, Editing, Sound Design, Special Effects, and new Digital Technologies.
The Renowood Film Academy is not simply a film school, it is a community of regional artists and students who will continue to redefine the art and the Industry.
