The Renowood Film Academy was founded on the belief that a top qualify education in filmmaking should be accessible to anyone with the drive and ambition to make films. We hold short-term programs, including Weekend Intensives, 1-week Bootcamps, and 6-week Film Production programs.
We invite students of all occupations, races, ethnicities, and of a wide range of ages to enroll and benefit from the extraordinary education offered at the Renowood Film Academy, northern Nevada's first and only complete film school, supported by established Film Production and Talent Casting companies.

Filmmaking is the most collaborative of all forms of art, requiring and encompassing a wide variety of talents and skills. It is this integration that distinguishes the Renowood Film Academy from many other film schools. Students are not only exposed to the use of a variety of equipment, but they also learn how all the many aspects of filmmaking relate to, interact with, and depend upon one another.
The Renowood Film Academy covers the complete Indie Filmmaking process, from concept development though production, through distribution and marketing, and every step in-between. We do not simply train writers or directors or editors, but instead, we equip our students to be well-round filmmakers, capable of venturing forward with there own motion picture dreams!
