2008 FESTIVAL
November 7-9, 2008
The 2008 Festival was held in Reno, NV, November 7-9, 2008 to sold out screenings of cutting edge independent and student films.
The RFF welcomed reps from NEW distribution companies to this year's event: Unicorn Media & Globeular. Several winning projects have been picked up for distribution. The Sunday Awards Banquet (pictured below) was the highlight of the event, filled with filmmakers both new and famous.

BEST OF FESTIVAL
The 2008 festival featured the premier of Tanging Pag-asa (Only Hope)...our first foreign language festival winner from the Philippines. This was the US premier from Palawan's premier indie filmmakers.
With this historic victory, the Renowood Film Festival has successfully completed the leap to international festival.

2007 FESTIVAL
November 2-4, 2007
The 2007 festival was the first under our new monicker "Renowood Film Festival" and was a monumental success. Utilizing Gamma Films new production studios made for a great screening venue amidst the equipment and personnel who are all about the craft.

BEST OF FESTIVAL
The 2007 festival featured the premier of RETRIBUTION.
This premier joint venture between Gamma Films and the Renowood Film Academy makes the inauguration of the region's first professional film school. Its worldwide premier in the coveted Sat night slot was standing room only in the 500 seat venue.
Note: Retribution struct a worldwide distribution deal with Unicorn.
